I killed my cat yesterday. 
Guildenstern had become increasingly aggressive towards our other cats and us over the past year. He frequently swiped at us, and continually hissed and attacked the other cats. We earnestly tried to find him a new home, but nobody wanted a cat with his bad attitude.
He was not happy, and there was no way we could find to make him happy. Once we decided to have him euthanized (at the vet’s suggestion), we quickly made an appointment and had it done. It was over quickly.
I know it was the best thing for us to do for him, but I’m still sad. He used to be a really great cat. I remember him as a shy kitten 6 years ago who never left his brother’s side for the first several months of his life. He could be sweet and cuddly, playful and friendly. I’m very sorry to have seen him go through this terrible change.
